Annie Deng
Annie Deng is a student at Brown University passionate about the intersection of health and the arts. She has extensive experience in marketing and outreach, and manages the online presence of Documenting DAPpers.
She brings together creativity, communication, and impact through her experience in marketing, content creation, and research. At Brown, she creates multimedia content for the Providence Original Photography Club and assists with content creation for a student-run startup.
Beyond digital storytelling, Annie has extensive experience in event organization and leadership. As Director of Plenaries for the World Affairs Conference (North America’s largest student-run current affairs conference), she led a team of nine to coordinate speaker outreach and programming. She has also worked on several student film productions at Brown in producing, editing, and script supervising roles, deepening her understanding of how storytelling can inform and inspire audiences.
Passionate about health and medicine, Annie volunteers in hospital settings and conducts research at the intersection of biology and patient care. She hopes to merge her dual interests to show the link between the health and the arts.
